Alexis Lu is an associate with Winget Spadafora & Schwartzberg LLP. She practices business litigation with a focus on securities and financial services litigation, and securities regulation and compliance.
Ms. Lu received her J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 2011, where she served as the Executive Article Editor of the Asian Pacific American Law Journal and the Outreach Chair of the China Law Association. During law school, Ms. Lu served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Erithe A. Smith of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. She was also a recipient of the Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP Law Fellows Award. Ms. Lu earned her B.A. in English from Beijing Foreign Studies University. She also holds a master's degree in information studies (with honors) from UCLA.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Lu was an associate at an employment law firm representing employees in all aspects of labor and employment law disputes. She also previously worked as a research fellow, Chinese language instructor and college academic counselor at UCLA. She is a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese.
Ms. Lu is admitted to practice in the State of California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Ms. Lu is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the California Employment Lawyers Association, Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
