Dove A. E. Burns is a partner of Winget, Spadafora & Schwartzberg, LLP and manages the firm’s Connecticut office. Her practice focuses primarily on employment litigation, securities defense litigation, arbitration, the defense of financial services professionals and broker-dealers. Ms. Burns also regularly defends executives charged with allegations of wrongdoing, including claims of sexual misconduct. Her practice experience also includes corporate law, special education law and anti-trust litigation. She has also represented clients in a variety of professional liability and commercial matters.

Ms. Burns earned her B.A. from Northwestern University and J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law.

Ms. Burns is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, New York, the U.S. District Court, in the District of Connecticut and the Southern District of New York. She is a member of the Connecticut Senate Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. She is also a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Fairfield County Bar Association, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
